Vertical Stirred Ball Mill For Lab

A stirred ball mill, also known as an attritor mill, is a high-efficiency grinding device used primarily for reducing the size of materials at the nanoscale. Unlike traditional ball mills, which rely on gravity and the tumbling action of grinding media, stirred ball mills use a stationary tank filled with grinding media and a central rotating shaft that agitates the media. This mechanism allows for the production of fine and nanoparticles through impact and shear forces, making them ideal for applications in nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and advanced materials.

Vertical stirred ball mill special options

Cylinder liner - can be used for grinding without metal ion contamination. Ceramic (alumina), ceramic tiles, food grade rubber, or polyurethane can be chosen as the lining.
Stirring arm sleeve - For grinding without metal ion contamination, the stirring arm should be made of plastic, tungsten carbide or zirconia sleeve.
Cylinder head - can be equipped with a floating shaft seal for grinding under inert gas.
Drive system - variable speed drive, suitable for various speed needs.
